When you are looking to turn back time or keep it from catching up with you, the choices can be a bit overwhelming. If you are new to the game, it is hard to tell which products work and which ones are merely stealing your money. We are going to try and clear that up for you just a bit.

If you have opened up any beauty magazine or have been watching television, you are painfully aware that the biggest thing on the market is anti aging creams. Every middle aged super model and movie star seems to be selling one product or another. What you need to be looking for is products that have things like Retinol in them. This and several others are proven ingredients that actually work.

There are also things like Botox that you can consider. This is something that in most cases you will have to have a doctor inject, but there are also currently products on the market that use this in one form or another to more or less fill in your wrinkles and take the appearance of your face back a few years.

If you watch Sex and the City, you know all about chemical peels. The scene where Samantha gets her peel only to see an amazingly red and irritated face looking back at her is not that far from the truth. The initial look can be a little tough to handle and you may experience some discomfort, but after a few days all of that goes away and you are left with a more youthful appearance.

Once you find some products, even with a positive review, they may not work for you. It is not that there is anything wrong with them, just that your skins chemical makeup is not a match for that product. When you find something that works, stick with it and you should be happy with the results.
